American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her acting career with supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and had a supporting role in the short-lived series The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira and, in the second season, she was Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played the role of Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices several characters in the animated comedy show Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 when she and her mother relocated to California. There, they went through a few different places before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be interested in photography, acting and singing when she was 13. When she turned 15, she moved with her mother to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
