Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef personality. Burrell was also an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and her edgy personality on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, reveals an easy and straightforward methods for cooks at home. Chef Burrell also has worked in the top New York establishments, learned about the Italian food and culture and has participated in Food Network's Iron Chef America. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up in New York State's Upstate, developed an early passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the catalyst for her passion for managing restaurants when she received an English/Communications degree at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful experience. I couldn't seem to get enough enjoyment from it. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) as she attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. During her time in Italy she came to be aware of the philosophy of Italian food and culture that has had a profound impact from a culinary perspective. Burrell was a Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board participant, with the goal of to increase the lives of children facing challenges. Burrell also serves as an Juvenile Disease Research Foundation celebrity spokesperson and promotes awareness about childhood diabetes. In her capacity as a speaker, Burrell is on the road to talk about her love of cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne, throughout her entire experience in the kitchen, has declared that it's an honor to have the opportunity to be able to share this love of life with others.
